A Simple Plan that Makes Sense
Every self-help course introduces concepts with a plan that seems to make perfect sense. Staying the course and mastering the concepts, however, is nearly impossible, leaving the reader feeling defeated, inadequate and a candidate for Prozac. In a twelve-step program, for example, you have to complete all twelve steps or you fail.
To make things worse, everything today is hurry-up. People still want to be motivated, but they say, "Motivate me now, I have a lunch at one." We don't have time for 12 steps any more 7 habits takes too long to master. After all we're living in a day and age where we can manage things, bada-bing, in one minute.
Negativity Management has a simple two-step Program:
Step One: Get off your butt
Step Two: Do Something
Negativity Management is a continual growth process. Any part of the theory you apply will help. Every time you do something positive or every time you eliminate something negative you make a difference in your life and in the lives of the people around you. It's simple. If you can't see positive results, it's not my fault. End of discussion, Fuhgeddaboudit.
The ultimate goal of Negativity Management is to eliminate all the negative things in your life. For some of you, that's going to take a long time. But imagine, if you eliminated all the negative things in your life, time management would be a breeze! No negatives? No conflicts to resolve. No negatives, no stress. What you do with all this new positive energy is your business.
